The Importance of Pro res 422

Before editing the film I've looked into the importance of pro resing the footage first as I'm aware that all of the footage has been shot on either a Canon 60D or 600D. What I have found is that FCP 7 has a tough time with playback on DSLR's so to combat this I'm going to run the footage through a program called MPEG stream clip to make the editing process much easier and efficient.
